Tooth Extractions

At Dental Renaissance, we want to help you enjoy a natural smile for life. While we offer a wide range of restoration options, we believe that your original teeth are the ones that will serve you best. There may be times, however, when our dentist may suggest a visit to our office for a tooth extraction in Plano, Texas, to preserve the health of your smile. If you are dealing with a problem tooth, call 972-423-0880 for your appointment with Dr. Kari Blankenship.

While our dentist and team do everything possible to prevent the need to remove a tooth from your mouth, there are some circumstances that may make a tooth extraction the best option for your oral health. You may need a tooth extraction if:

Your tooth is severely decayed and damaged beyond the point where it can be repaired.

Your tooth has a severe infection, and large portions of the tooth and its supporting bone structure have been destroyed.

Your teeth are crowded and cannot fit properly in your mouth unless one is removed.
